  • Bear Ridge has four 2 bedroom rustic cabins as well as two newly renovated 3 bedroom cottages for rent.

    Rates are based on 2 adults and 2 minor dependents. Please note the maximum number of persons per site is 6. Extra fees apply for more than 2 adults and 2 children per reservation. This applies to overnight sites, cabins and cottages.

  • There are 16 different overnight sites available with 30/50 AMP. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring.

    1 camping unit per site except for The Ponds which allows up to 3 RVs for group camping (an added fee per RV applies).

  • Overnight sites:

    Check-in between 12pm-8pm. Proceed to Bear Ridge Boutique upon arrival to obtain a bracelet which must be worn for the duration of your stay.

    Check-out is at 11am.

    Cabins & Cottages:

    Check-in is between 2pm-8pm. Proceed to Bear Ridge Boutique upon arrival to obain a bracelet which must be worn for the duration of your stay.

    Check-out is at 11am.

    **Please notify the office by email or phone call if you are delayed and will be arriving after 8:00pm.

    **Please ensure site/cabin/cottage is cleaned up before you leave.

  • Yes, but all visitors must register at The Bear Ride Boutique to obtain a wrist band. Visitor fees are $20/person per day and your guest must leave the park by 11pm.

    Seasonal campers can also buy a season guest pass for $250 which allows unlimited guests throughout the 2026 season. Their guests must still register at the Bear Ridge Boutique each time they want to enter the park so their name is documented.

  • A credit cad AND full contact details must be on file otherwise your reservation is NOT Confirmed. All reservations are 100% payable at time of booking.

    100% refund (minus the processing fee which is non-refundable) is available up until 14 days prior to check-in date.

    50% refund (minus the processing fee which is non-refundable) is available up until 7 days prior to check-in date.

    The reservation is no longer refundable if cancelled with 6 days or less notice of check-in date.

  • We have both 30 amp & 50 amp service throughout the campground.

    **The Ponds has 30 AMP and no sewer however a dump station is available free of charge.

  • Yes we have 1 pull through site available (site # E14). The remainder of our overnight sites are back in sites only.

  • No, Bear Ridge is a seasonal campground and the 2026 season starts @12p on Fri May 8th and ends on 8pm on Sun Oct 18th.

  • Yes. The listings within the park can be found on our website at bearridgecamp.ca under the “trailers for sale” tab. If you’d like to see any of them, please contact Jay or Traci to schedule a viewing.

  • Yes, we are a General Coach Canada Dealer so we can assist you with that process. Contact sales@brlifestyles.ca for more information.

  • Quiet time is between 11pm and 8am.

    Music must be kept moderately low at all times. Please respect your neighbours by adhering to this policy.

  • Yes, you are allowed to bring alcohol in the campground however excessive drinking and profane language will not be tolerated. Please no glass bottles at the pool area or on the beach.

  • Yes. We have 200 feet of sandy shoreline on Wollaston Lake (located across the street from our store) and is for Bear Ridge campers ONLY. People who are not staying at our park must go to the Bear Ridge Boutique to purchase a day pass in order to use our private beach. There is no lifeguard on duty therefore minors must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Yes we do and they are free to use for Bear Ridge campers only.

  • Yes. Ther is a public boat launch located across the lake at Red Eagle Campground.

    A dock slip for the 2026 season at Bear Ridge can be purchased via the Occupant’s License of Occupation form or on the dedicated App for $645 + HST.

    Docks will be in the water at Bear Ridge Campground from Fri May 15th, 2026 to Mon Oct 12th, 2026. All watercraft must be removed by Mon Oct 12th, 2026.

    For those bringing their boat for a much shorter duration, a dock slip can be purchased at The Bear Ridge Boutique for $20/day.

  • No, we all must do our part to stop the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer. Firewood can be purchased via the Bear Ridge App and it will be delivered to your site.

  • Yes, there is a 20’x40’ heated inground salt water pool for our campers to enjoy. Pool hours are listed on the App within the pool icon. There is no lifeguard on duty therefore minors must be accompanied and supervised by an adulta at all times.

    **2026 season: pool will be open from May 15-Oct 5, 2026.

  • Yes, we accept VISA, Mastercard and Interact Debit Cards.

  • Yes, 1 tent on your site is permitted, however, the maximum number of people per site is 6. This applies to overnight sites, cabins and cottages.

    All prices are based on a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 dependents). Additional fees apply for extra adults and children.

  • Yes, your camper-friendly pet is welcome. Of course they must be leashed at all time. Poop and scoop is in effect. Please do not throw any organic waste into the tree line or in the recycling bin. Please use the garbage bins located throughout the park. Pet owners must make every attempt to keep their pet as quiet as possible.

  • There is WIFI in our cabin and cottage rentals only.

  • Yes. There are clearly labelled recycling and garbage bins located at the exit gate. Only garbage accumulated during your stay within the park can be disposed of in Bear Ridge bins.

  • No. Fireworks, air guns, slingshots or chainsaws are strictly forbidden on park premises.

  • Our family oriented campground caters to children. We have 3 playgrounds, inflatable water toys as well as a large Pavilion where numerous activities are hosted by our Recreation Committee. Refer to our activity calendar on the App to see our upcoming events.

  • The Bear Ridge Boutique offers a variety of snack bar items such as pizza, flatbread, french fries, poutine, hamburger, onion rings, Kawartha Dairy ice cream, slushies, candy and so much more including a vast array of clothing for sale. Although we don’t offer indoor dining, there are picnic tables outside as well as seating on our lakeside deck.

  • No. Although there aren’t laundry facilities at the park, there are 2 laundromats in Bancroft.
