Meet the Owners
Jay fell in love with camping at a very young age while spending time at the campground his grandparents formerly owned on Mississagagon Lake. He always dreamt of owning a park one day. Fast forward many years and his dream came true.
Prior to moving to Coe Hill, Jay's experience as a Red Seal Mason and Red Seal Carpenter allowed him to successfully run a large construction company, while his business partner Traci, worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years. In 2013, they bought Bear Ridge, formerly known as Island View, which consisted of 18 sites and 4 rustic cabins. In the fall of 2014, Jay began tackling the campground's comprehensive expansion plan and by 2018, his vision came to life.
Bear Ridge now consists of 100 large, beautifully landscaped sites with parking (a combination of seasonal and overnight), 4 cabins and 2 cottages with 50 AMP services and state-of-the-art water and sewer systems throughout the campground.
Bottom line: Bear Ridge is unlike any other park out there so Jay and Traci highly encourage you to come see it with your own eyes. Once you're here, you'll quickly understand why so many customers have chosen this phenomenal family-oriented park on Wollaston Lake as their oasis!
